About Mark Perry - one of NZ's top male voiceover specialists

One of New Zealand’s top male voice over specialists with over forty seven years radio broadcasting and voicing experience. Mark Perry’s talents have helped numerous clients on hundreds of projects locally and worldwide.

He was also heard around the world on Air New Zealand’s In Flight “Classic Hits” programme for many years, which he programmed, along with anchoring the successful NZ network radio Breakfast Show, Radio Hauraki’s “Morning Pirates” until 2006, plus has handled many other time slots. Mark has been, and still is, the “brand” voice of a number of radio networks, of differing formats both locally and internationally, plus been the corporate voice of various TV channels in New Zealand.


His accent is often described as “Mid Tasman” being universal enough to include clients in Australia, Malaysia, the United States and the UK.

Mark Perry has won many industry awards, including the Gold Medal in 1988 from the International Radio Festival of New York for “Best Entertainment Programme” for his breakfast show with Ken Ellis on Christchurch’s 91ZM, plus Mobil Radio Awards for Radio Hauraki's “Morning Pirates” in 1991, 1992, 1994, and 1995.

Mark conceived, researched, wrote and voiced the award winning “Kiwi Classic Album” series, heard nationwide in 2000 to 2003.

His most recent award was the prestigious 2018 Radio Broadcasters Association “Lifetime Achievement” Award for services to broadcasting, and he continues on air on a network radio show as well as running his own radio stations,  and

Mark has his own home studio featuring top of the line equipment brands like Sennheiser, Focusrite, Logic Pro X audio recording software and Source Connect, the industry leader in high-quality audio and video connections over the Internet for voicing and production in “real time”.
